However, aside from that it offers a host of benefits and features that will make the game easier and more enjoyable to play than other similar games. If you want a graphical novel that still manages to offer a good deal of role playing and adventure in its tale, then Final Fantasy Type-2 is definitely the best game for you.

Like the first game in the series, this one follows the tale of Tidus. In this game he has to save his homeland from the looming darkness that is taking over the world. You do this by exploring the open-world environment, finding items, equipping your party and facing difficult battles. Unlike most MMORPGs where you have to grind to level your characters, in Final Fantasy Type-2 you are given a variety of jobs to complete each with their own set of rewards. This adds up to a lot more opportunity to replay parts of previous quests to find more hidden items and weapons.

The storyline in Final Fantasy Type-2 is told using typical fantasy elements, following the tale of a prince who is cast away on an unknown destination while traveling aboard an airship. There he encounters several characters who have mysterious powers and a desire to use this mysterious power to unseat the king of their land. Your task is to help them learn to control and eventually use this dark power to overthrow the evil king and return the light to their land. Unlike many other games however, this one does not just give you a hero to fight against, instead there is an interesting back story that ties into the main plotline.

While Final Fantasy Type-2 does have quite a bit of time put into providing a quality game, it does tend to become repetitive at times. At one point or another, the game requires you to go back and level up some characters which can be very boring after a while. I especially disliked the recurring enemy Bahamut, which makes few appearances and is easily killed. I felt that it was too easy to defeat. Unlike other games where the Bahamut can only be harmed by fire, Final Fantasy Type-2 allows you to inflict status effects on it that will make the fight much more interesting. Since Bahamut only has three moves, it's a bit tedious to kill.

Unfortunately, this game is only available for PS4. If you'd prefer to play this game on a regular PlayStation platform, then you're out of luck. That being said, it's still a wonderful game to play, and is definitely recommended for anyone who loves playing MMORPGs. Not only does it have a fantastic story, but it also has some great graphics that really set it apart from all the other medieval games out there.
