A Message from Yamada Sensei
Dear Aikido friends in the USAF and around the world,
As you get older time goes so fast. Our New York Aikikai Christmas seminar as already come and gone. Looking back at my schedule for 2009, I wonder how I did it. So many things happened over the year both personally and officially.
My New Year's resolution is, once again, to reduce my seminar travel schedule. However, you will laugh at me when you see my schedule for the upcoming year. It looks as busy, if not busier, than last year! Anyway, it is nice to know that I am wanted.
As you might notice, I'm trying to pass all of the USAF business decisions to the hands of the Board of Directors and the Technical Committee. This is the way the USAF should be run, and I should be able to sit on top of the structure comfortably knowing that it is all in place. I'm glad to see that it is happening slowly but surely, and that everyone is working so well with eachother to accomplish so many good things for the USAF. Please remember that in order to carry on any organization, it is impossible to do so without the understanding and flexibility of its members.
I hope 2010 will be another great year for you and the USAF.
Yamada Sensei
